The Mega yacht Variety Voyager

The 68 meter/36 cabin Voyager was launched in 2012. This sleek high – tech and modern looking yacht complies with the most stringent SOLAS safety regulations.

Life on Board

Main Lounge:

Located on the Main deck, right off the reception area, the Main Lounge is gracefully designed and finished with wood panels. There is ample seating space for moments of pleasure or relaxation and modern AV equipment for presentations. The mini library/ Internet suite, just off the Main Lounge, offers a variety of books and magazines as well as free Internet.

Dining Room:

The glass enclosed dining room seats 75 passengers and allows for spectacular views around you, while dining in an elegant environment. It extends to the adjacent open deck, seating 50 passengers and allowing for breakfast, lunch or dinner to be taken "al fresco". Food is served at the table or displayed on the state of the art hot and cold buffet which also includes an "a la minute" cooking section.

The Horizons Bar & Lounge:

The open Upper Deck Bar Lounge offers stylish shaded seating and is the ideal spot for reading, relaxing or dancing under the stars until the late hours at the sound of our resident DJ/entertainer.

The Spa and Fitness Suite:

Located at the Marina Deck, it offers massage, sauna and some fitness equipment. Our Balinese Spa Supervisor provides also hair, face and nails treatments.

The Sun Deck:

Balinese beds and sun loungers are available to sunbathe in total comfort while enjoying drinks served from the Sun Deck Horizons bar.

The Cabins

The 68m Variety Voyager can accommodate up to 72 guests in 36 cabins. 28 cabins are located at the Marina and Main Decks and 8 staterooms at the Horizons Deck. Cabins and staterooms sizes range from 16 to 20 m2 (170 to 216 sq. ft.). Cabins at the Marina deck feature two oversized portholes and cabins at the Main and Horizons deck feature large windows. All cabins have individually controlled A/C and ventilation, minibars, flat screen TV's, DVD players and all the amenities of a luxury ship. Bathrooms are finished with warm marble and Corian.

Itinerary

from Los Suenos/ Herradura, Costa Rica to Colon - Shelter Bay Marina, Panama

Day 1 – Sunday- Los Suenos/ Herradura, Costa Rica – Curu, Costa Rica

Embarkation- 15:00 to 16:00. Sailing to Curu Reserve. Evening arrival in Curu. Overnight at anchor.

Day 2 – Monday -Curu, Costa Rica – Tortuga Island, Costa Rica

Morning optional walking excursion in the Curu Nature Reserve with the local Rangers and our on board naturalist. Late morning we rejoin the Voyager for a short sailing to Tortuga Island. We arrive in Tortuga Island at noon for swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear waters of this paradise island before joining in for our Beach BBQ. Later on we have more time for enjoying this amazing island. Overnight at anchor.

Day 3 – Tuesday - Quepos, Costa Rica

Very early in the morning, we leave Tortuga Island for Quepos. Morning arrival in Quepos and transfer to the MANUEL ANTONIO RESERVE, one of the highlights of the cruise. Our optional morning excursion takes us to the MANUEL ANTONIO park which consists of three magnificent white-sand beaches that are backed by a jungle sheltering hundreds of fascinating plant species. Naturalists lead walks to outstanding wildlife viewing. Manuel Antonio offers well-maintained trails where you can explore the jungle on your own or join a walk with one of our naturalists. You may wish to see the small shopping area, relax on the white-sand beach or take a swim. Optional afternoon excursions :1. Savegre River 2. Forest Canopy Tour. Late evening sailing to Puerto Jimenez- Golfo Dulce. Overnight at sea.

Day 4 – Wednesday- Puerto Jimenez/ Golfo Dulce – Casa Orquideas Private Reserve – Golfito, Costa Rica

We reach Puerto Jimenez early in the morning. Morning optional excursion to the OSA CONSERVATION SOCIETY by 4x4. We return to the ship for a late lunch while we cross Golfo Dulce towards Casa Orquideas. We reach Casa Orquideas and tender to this beautiful flowers sanctuary. Optional walking excursion to this private Nature Sanctuary. Visit of the extensive and very well preserved grounds. Time to swim at the end of the visit. We then sail into Golfito Bay in Golfo Dulce where we arrive at midnight for immigration procedures and then sail overnight to Coiba Island, Panama. Overnight at sea.

Day 5 – Thursday - Coiba Island - Granito De Oro Island, Panama

Morning arrival in Coiba Island a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest island in Central America. Optional morning walking excursion. Our Ship Naturalist will take you for a short walk up hill to discover the local forest and animal life. After our beach BBQ on Coiba, we sail to nearby Granito de Oro Island for swimming and snorkelling in a pristine environment. The waters are teeming with marine life. It is surrounded by one of the largest coral reefs in the pacific coasts of the Americas and marks the beginning of the underwater Cordilera mountain chain that also includes Coco's and the Galapagos. This makes it a unique underwater experience you shouldn't miss. In the afternoon, we leave Granito de Oro and sail to Panama City. Overnight at sea.

Day 6 – Friday- Amador / Flamenco Marina, Panama - Panama Canal Crossing – Colon, Panama

Arrival in the morning in Flamenco Marina / Amador, Panama City. Morning optional excursion in the Panama city Old Town quarter and Canal site (Miraflores Locks and Museum). Lunch on board. At 2 pm we start preparing for the Panama Canal crossing starting at 5pm. Canal crossing starts at 17:00 pm. We cross the Miraflores and the San Pedro Locks before reaching the Gatun locks on the Atlantic side. We cross the Gatun Locks in the early hours and after clearance we continue on to San Blas Islands. Overnight at sea.

Day 7 – Saturday - San Blas Islands/ Carti & Gran Perro Islands, Panama

Early morning arrival in San Blas Archipelago, a chain of over 365 tropical islands of which 50 only are inhabited by the Kuna Indians, who live in communities of bamboo-sided, thatched-roofed houses. We anchor at Carti Island for our optional excursion and visit the largest Kuna Indians settlement. Children will dance for our passengers and we will visit a local home. Later we sail to nearby Gran Perro Island (Big Dog Island). BBQ on the island. We have plenty of time for swimming, snorkelling on the island or at nearby Perro island with its famous wreck. Late evening departure for Colon Shelter Marina.

Day 8 – Sunday - Colon - Shelter Bay Marina, Panama

Arrival in Colon/Shelter Bay Marina at 08:00. Disembarkation at 09:00.

Day 3 – Tuesday - Portobello, Panama - Canal Crossing, Panama

Optional walking tour of Portobello's fort ruins, Customs House and Village. We leave Portobello and sail to Colon to prepare for the Canal Crossing. We cross the Gatun Locks late afternoon and enter the Gatun Lake. We cross San Pedro and Miraflores locks, in the early hours and dock at Flamenco Marina.

Day 4 – Wednesday - Flamenco Marina – Panama City, Panama

Optional morning excursion in Panama City Old Town quarter and Canal (Miraflores Locks and Museum). After lunch we sail to Coiba Island. Overnight at sea.

Day 5 – Thursday - Coiba Island - Granito De Oro Island, Panama

We reach Golfito early in the morning for immigration procedures before continuing our sailing on to nearby Casa Orquideas where we anchor. We reach Casa Orquideas and tender to this beautiful flowers sanctuary. Optional walking excursion to this private Nature Sanctuary. Visit of the extensive and very well preserved grounds. Time to swim at the end of the visit.
We then sail across the Bay to Puerto Jimenez while having a BBQ on deck. We reach Puerto Jimenez early in the afternoon. Optional excursion to the OSA CONSERVATION SOCIETY by 4x4. We return to the ship for dinner. Overnight at sea to Quepos.

Day 7 – Saturday - Quepos, Costa Rica

Morning arrival in Quepos and transfer to the MANUEL ANTONIO RESERVE. Our optional excursion takes us to the MANUEL ANTONIO park which consists of three magnificent white-sand beaches that are backed by a jungle sheltering hundreds of fascinating plant species. Naturalists lead walks to outstanding wildlife viewing. Manuel Antonio offers well-maintained trails where you can explore the jungle on your own or join a walk with one of our naturalists. You may wish to see the small shopping area, relax on the white-sand beach or take a swim Optional afternoon excursions: 1. Savegre River 2. Forest Canopy Tour. Overnight sailing to Los Suenos / Herradura after our farewell dinner. Overnight at sea.

Day 8 – Sunday - Los Suenos, Costa Rica

Arrival in LOS SUENOS marina at 08:00. Disembarkation between 09:00 and 10:00
